Because they had ordered 8 pizzas with some kind of meat and one veggie pizza.

The elevated freeway through downtown is bad for many reasons. Whole lot of reasons, in fact. This particular interchange hates both the community and the drivers it purports to serve. It is an afront to nature.

Tuition fees are, in themselves, an afront to any society that values fairness, equality and education. The fact that the student loans management has been farmed out to companies who seek only to exploit it for financial gain, is grossly negligent.

That being said... the opening score to Quantum of Solace was an afront and people who like these kinds of films deserved better than a song which was sung out of key by artists who definitely could've done a better job. Even Die Another Day sounded better and that's saying something.

As an atheist, I think insisting my rights were granted by god is an afront to me as a citizen of this country. As a woman, I understand my rights were fought for by other women, especially my right to vote. I think about the sacrifices of those women, not Jesus, when I cast a ballot.

I have a major issue here. The quest object was right outside the castle of knightmare on that central island.. I've always thought of this as a bit of an afront to tradition of the object of the quest being at the depths of the dungeon. Why the hell are we outside?!?!?!? outside home?!?!?
