The idiots can't understand the concept of the difference between "an account-creation surge" and the percentage of account-creators that end up staying on a given platform post-surge.

I feel like Loki is a good example in general tbh- the Avengers has multiple more ‘typical’ beefcake guys, but he was the one women went BATSHIT INSANE about. I was on tumblr, not exactly at the time, but soon after. I saw the afteraffects.

I know this already bc ive survived so much trauma already but after surviving yet another traumatic thing (im okay don't worry just dealing with the afteraffects) I forgot how hard it is to deal with being fresh out of the traumatic situation like I forgot how paranoid & tense & disassociated

just used my epic spike mat with bare skin and i lasted about 30 seconds but even these afteraffects feel really nice

to here, leaving most of my online friends behind who hadn't made the jump, and then suddenly finding myself a pariah because I had unintentionally crossed the wrong person. Honestly, it's making me cry right now just remembering the experience. :( And some of the afteraffects still linger -

^_^ i compare sb to mysterious skin specifically cus like. both stories very different aesthetically but both have two MCs that deal with the afteraffects of CSA as adults in ways that are ugly and unpleasant

The afteraffects of fentanyl and / or ketamine have left me so physically uncomfortable, even 2 weeks later. My gastro system is slowed to crawl and I have to take all these pills and then with endometriosis I am not on my medicine so it's a bit more painful than usual.

Im just so tired 😭 I'm so, so, so, SO tired. I know I've survived afteraffects before but my god. How?? 😭😭 I'm just scared it will last and I know it won't bc it goes away eventually but it's so hard to believe sometimes 😭😭if anyone's survived trauma & dealt with the afteraffects & they got better..
