This tells me Discord wants a solution where the facial scan doesn't leave the user's machine, and therefore won't be saved on any central database.

Which, if AgeID becomes law, is the best we can hope from any social app.

Haven't used Bluesky in a while as it kept asking me for ageID before I could view anything, and I ain't giving my ID to third parties.
Just noticed now though, that Bluesky had set my DOB to 2023, and that's why it was asking for ID.. 😮‍💨I know we millenials look younger than we are, but... 😂
