one thing that i don’t know how to articulate is that i see this pattern online of assuming that women must hate the men they are married to in the name of feminism- but that actually sort of reduces these women to helpless agentless blobs in a weird way

I would add this is also the right wing's logic. They always frame themselves as agentless babies who are "forced" to take extreme positions because of what liberals / the left does.
The reactionary centrist logic is simple: if the left does something bad it’s the left’s fault, and if the right does something bad, it’s also the left’s fault for making them do it. It’s a simple formula and once you see it every one of their arguments is the same

The hyper focus on a woman's individual actions rather than the system that encourages and constructs the conditions for those actions frustrates me in the first place. There is a line here between "women are agentless" and "women have agency" though that gets lost when we uncritically decide
