I've been adding metal aglets to any clothing I have that has a knotted drawstring, my thinking is this will prevent them from fraying and extend the life of the garment a little, but also, I think it looks cooler

Charity shop purchase, excellent for showing off my tinier Thames treasures - marbles, garnets, aglets. This is a mandala gaming board, history of these goes back to Ancient Egyptian times & still popular in the Middle East. Handmade from walnut, I’ll be exhibiting it at Lewes on Sat 22nd March.
