This past year I've had my art stolen, sold on shirts, made into memecoin, edited, copied, and put through AI without my consent by malicious individuals.

I will not stop creating regardless, and neither should you. Artists should support artists now more than ever.

Tesla is all-in on fraud, from too to bottom.

Leading a transition to sustainable energy doesn't matter. Making and selling cars doesn't even matter. It's just a memecoin backed by Elon's empty, broken promises to "solve real world AI" and make magic self-driving cars and robot slaves.

Nah we’re not doing this

The way I see it is this: anyone using AI in anything in any way connected to creative work at this moment in time is a scab, automatically unethical and untrustworthy. To willingly participate in their projects is like buying memecoin from hawk tuah. I wish you a very merry rug pull

Sundog, a memecoin by crypto billionaire Justin Sun, just posted a meme depicting its mascot controlling the White House. Sun has spent (or will shortly spend) a total of $213 million on Trump-connected crypto projects.

Why would AI and crypto need to be bailed out, though.

Was Sam Altman lying when he promised AGI by 2025? Is Donald Trump’s memecoin not the stable investment he promised it was?

We wanted our early 2000's Back to the Future Neo Y2K utopia but instead we got Capitolist AI memecoin slop dystopia

I am pretty sure what’s going to happen to all the specialized hardware after the AI bubble pops is that someone like Musk is going to pay some programmers to make a memecoin that runs on AI silicon.

Saw a poster last night walking to 7/11 advertising “The world’s first AI created memecoin”

By the time I walked back, someone had torn it off the wall

I love NYC

Stuff I find libertarian economists are excited to comment on since Monday:

The prospects for DOGE; developments in AI; UK underperformance; crypto deregulation

Stuff I've seen no comment upon:

The naked corruption inherent in a President literally hawking a memecoin on arrival in office

Essa pedra aí o pessoal tá cantando pelo menos desde que o cidadão lançou uma memecoin no próprio nome

In July, shortly after Justin Sun announced his plan to purchase another $100 million of the $TRUMP memecoin, the Sun-involved and -themed SUNDOG memecoin posted a meme showing its corgi mascot holding puppet strings attached to the White House.

Yeah this is unfortunately "a thing" in the open source AI space right now.

AFAICT this is not a scam in the sense that maintainers don't get money—they reportedly do get fees, but they effectively do marketing for a memecoin, making money for whoever started it out of their community's goodwill.
Crypto grifters are recruiting open-source AI developers

Also in this issue: Trump holds his second event for holders of his memecoin, the CFTC says they’re going to use AI to review registration applications, and Congress claims they’ve reached a compromise between the bank and crypto lobbies (though the banking lobby doesn’t view it that way).
