I nitpick AI stuff, but the abuse of "reasoning" here is kinda like, really bad for a doc about learning AI. I feel it misrepresents important details of AI, & over-anthropomorphizes.

Yes exactly! Programmes like AI4K12 start with a decontextualised AI looking out at the world, whereas what most of us need is the opposite: sensitivity to the context in which the AI operates

Interesting implications for #AIinEducation and AI Literacy efforts. Will knowledge of how these systems work make kids less likely to use them? I'm thinking of current work on AI4K12 and other #CSed projects. I've heard anecdotes of students researching AI and deciding it's awful.

Quite the indictment of AI products: they are more appealing to people who don't understand how they work and see them as magical
