Another 6k votes in Detroit yesterday, so it was actually pretty lax there. About 1k mail, 5k IPEV.

The real story is the college counties. That's:
-Ingham (MSU)
-Isabella (CMU)
-Washtenaw (UofM/EMU)
-Houghton (MiTech)
-Kalamazoo (WMU)
-Ottawa (GVSU)

Huge turnout there.

Foundation done. Next, waterproofing, drill holes for pipes, add rain screen, backfill and fill cmu blocks with concrete.

CMU WR Langston Lewis arrested overnight for OWI, suspended from team
Head coach Matt Drinkall didn't say it was Lewis, specifically, but it's not hard to connect the dots from an OWI arrest to a suspension.

I lectured on the "ETH false" (#3SAT in subexponential time) result in my grad complexity class at CMU today.

Didn't have time in 80 mins to do the full proof, but I hope I got across the main plan, and some of the basic TCS ingredients going into it.

In theory, CMU would be the best place to approach gen-AI critically, study its environmental, social, and cognitive impacts; develop counter-aesthetics; figure out some harm reduction methodologies...
In practice, the administration is like: Actually, cheating is bold innovation!

In Bryce Underwood's third game of his career against CMU last year he went 16/25 for 235 yards, 1 TD and a pick, and 9 for 114 and 2 TDs on the ground. And CMU had the 65th-ranked defense last year; Rutgers is 124th. Carr played okay and has upside, but this is what you'd expect.

@Knobel & Lankshear offer a helpful way to think about new literacies: there’s new “technical stuff” (the tools) and new “ethos stuff” (the mindset). The ethos part is about participation, collaboration, and shared expertise. #NewLiteracies #EdTech #EDU800 #CMU

One takeaway from #Mills: digital literacy is about more than tools. It’s about identity, collaboration, and how meaning gets made across text, image, sound, and video. Multimodality isn’t a bonus skill anymore. It’s just how communication works. #Literacy #EdResearch #EDU800 #CMU

Wonderful. I try, multiple times a month, to tell CMU students about all that's there to see, hear, and experience. Sadly, residual fear, daily exhaustion, and little cash (or time) means few take a stab at a day trip.
