Super happy that #AJS2024 is online! I tried in person at the end of semester, but it's prohibitively difficult. I'm logged in & listening right now :)

10:30 today, if you're at #AJS2024, come listen to me talk about the question of whether there is any possibility of salvation in French symbolist poetry, in two Jewish readers of French symbolism - one much better known than the other.
For those who are attending #AJS2024, I'm speaking on a panel at 10:30am EST today, about "Self & Other" in theology and art. My paper is about Jewish readings of Baudelaire, and the debate over whether there is any salvific topos in French symbolism.

Acceptance for my #AJS2024 abstract! I'm doing the online version this year.

It is actually the same one I wasn't able to present in an earlier year because of COVID-related travel difficulties (then I had to present something else due to how my funding worked).

So it has been accepted twice now.
