My wife's uncle landed on Gold Beach on DDay as part of the Green Howards.
In later life, he developed Alzhiemers and became very distressed on Bonfire Night and New Year's Eve. He thought he was in Normandy in 1944.

The list of so called reporters going for the shiny object instead of the real news goes back to Monica Lewinski, probably earlier. There were a lot of stories about Carter's brother when he was in the WH but none abt Regan's Alzhiemers during his time there.

I so wish my Mum had the choice, but she wouldn't with this either. She certainly wasn't of sound mind or body at the end - Alzhiemers. Doubly incontinent, unable to move, see, speak or swallow. I still think it is the right thing to do.

He's fell. Probably at night. People with Alzhiemers or Dementia wander around at night. That's exactly what happened with my grandma

Statistics are easy to twist or abandon--eugenicists abandoned statistical models when they disproved the point they wanted to make-they didn't follow the data! There are numerous examples of scientists to this day fabricating data (Alzhiemers paper). However, it's very hard to prove as a reader.
