Color night photo of the right half of a white ranch house with a black roof. Street lamp out of frame casts a green light on the scene. A path runs to the front door. A small window to the left and a mullioned picture window to the right both glow with an orangey light from within. The right side of the house features a car port with a small car underneath, there is a small pickup truck to the right of that. Lastly, in the foreground on the grass, between the path on the left and the driveway on the right is a row of about a dozen alternating plastic colored eggs and flowers, illuminated from within and on sticks.

Maynard, MA on a foggy Christmas night. 4 of 4. #ambientNightsMag #fog #urbanLandscape #ev #chargingStation
Night photo of a EV (electric vehicle) charging station on a foggy Christmas night. It is a standalone structure with two charging points built into its wall. It has a peaked roof that runs parallel to the camera position. Above each charging point is painted a white zig-zag representation of a lightning bolt. These are painted over a light gray background on the wall. There is a single light just under the eave of the roof lighting the face of the charging station. To either side of the small structure, in the background, a variety of lights are visible. These are white, pale yellow, and red and they silhouette tree trunks and telephone poles that are also in the background. In the foreground, are stripes painted on the pavement indicating where each of two EVs should park to use the charging station, with the stripe dividing the two spots pointed directly at the camera. The pavement is wet and shiny, reflecting the light above it.

Maynard, MA on a foggy Christmas night. 2 of 4. #ambientNightsMag #fog #urbanLandscape #liquorStore
Night photo of a liquor store on a foggy Christmas night, photographed from 45º to the right of its facade. The main signage on the building reads, vertically, “LIQUORS.” A secondary sign to the right of the main one, reads “Main Street.” There is a small, pink, neon sign in the window of the store that reads “OPEN.” It is illuminated even though the business is obviously closed, by virtue of the unlit interior. The pavement in front is wet and shiny, it also reflect the light emanating from above.
