Muerte hizo renacer a un bebé dentro de él ya que usa por primera vez el don de renacer a alguien.

Esta muy feliz con su embarazo y con la bebita qué también está contenta en un útero protegido por su mami que la adora.

Many more - they were incredibly prolific in that era. AMoLaD is my favourite though!

* although even in AMOLAD, there's a gag where the heavenly prosecution of the British airman selects a jury of people with natural enmity to Brits: French, Russian, Chinese, Indian, Irish. He objects and they're replaced with Americans: French-, Russian-, Chinese-, African- and Irish-Americans.

I love it, but a) I have a soft spot for cinematic fairy tales and b) it's probably the least fleet of their films. It's definitely not where I would start with P&P. I might also say that Marius Goring is miscast; fantastic in AMOLAD but a little callow here (pitting him against Walbrook was unfair)

P.S. AMOLAD 20th plz. With the live show that we know you’ve got recorded.

I tapped out after a brief interest after the Brave New World and AMOLAD. But never returned. The classic run is enough for me and I rarely listen to them either. They are the band that got me into metal though. Somewhere in Time era. Long time gone. 😆

A 50 minute “Brave New World” in 2000. The same again in 2002 (bit of “BNW”, bit of “Dance of Death”). A bit of “DoD” and bit of “AMOLAD” in 2004. Etc. You get what I mean!

There’s around 9 x 50 minute albums worth of material in Maiden’s combined studio recording running time 2000-2021.

Sometimes I feel that Ithis did this secretly and in broad daylight in the canon

Anyway, my first time drawing the Creator and being the God that he is, a Latin American father leaving his children to their fate

Fuck. AMOLAD turned 20 the other day. Fuck.

Was gonna do the "5 albums that shaped you prompt" and started to nostalgia-listen to Iron Maiden's AMOLAD and now I've kinda forgotten what other albums I was gonna put on the list.

What are your top 3 songs from “AMOLAD”?
August 26, 2026 at 8:48 PM
If "SSOASS" is the Yin, then "AMOLAD" is the Yang. They're both brilliant together, for me. You could very easily put songs from each on the other album.

It’s difficult though, because I would say that the highs of “AMOLAD” and “TFF” are greater than anything they’ve done since the 1980s. But, certainly the latter of those two, contains some outright howlers. And I couldn’t sing you a single song from “The Book of Souls” if you paid me.

A list I can’t resist.

1 IKWIG
2 Blimp
3 AMOLAD
4 Canterbury
5 Aircraft
6 Spy
7 Contraband
8 Small Back Room
9 Narcissus
10 Shoes

I’m not as keen on the post-war films as many - I think the war was their ideal canvas.

Was really conflicted with mine because Benny Breeg’s amazing & I wanted AMOLAD representation cos it’s a masterpiece, but I genuinely get giddy every time I hear Moonchild IT’S SO BLOODY GOOD.
Brand new episode out today!! Which of YOUR tracks made it into the Ultimate IMPQ Playlist?!?! #ironmaiden

Everyone is different. Benny Breeg is the only track on AMOLAD I tend to skip :-)

And that’s that. 1 Dance of Death = 2.94 miles when I’m feeling a bit delicate.

Like I said, not an actively bad album, just a bit boring really. The 180° from this to AMOLAD is pretty spectacular.

Now to put away my industrial-sized tub of peanut butter.

In 2004, AMOLAD was screened at Lincoln Center. My wife and I had been married for 2yrs, and I took her to see it blind. Didn't tell her who was in it, what it was about, or anything. All I said was "This will be one of your Top Ten films by the end."

It became one of her Top Ten films of all time.

The AMOLAD bit sounded pretty good though. Made me listen to it again anyway.

I adore this film with my whole entire heart.

(By the way, have you ever noticed that AMoLaD and The Clangers have very similar opening sequences?)
August 17, 2026 at 1:30 PM
…aaaand I’m home. Did I remember to restart my watch so we could see how far one AMOLAD is? Nope. I did 1.27 miles up to the end of The Pilgrim, so you’ll have to work it out from there. 3 ½ miles? Ish? I dunno.

Fucking great album though.

AMoLaD is also my favourite film and I would love to be at home watching that with the wind thrashing outside, but alas I'm at work.
