AMPEG Dan Armstrong Modified Danelectro electric guitar assembled by Dan Armstrong in late 1969 from a batch of New-Old-Stock Danelectro necks and bodies that he acquired after the closing of the Neptune, New Jersey Danelectro factory. Made with the "U" series Danelectro single cutaway body, the guitar has all of the typical Dan Armstrong modifications including: the two lipstick pickups wired together and encapsulated in a tough epoxy shell, a four-way adjustable bridge, and the silk-screened logo on the clear, plastic pickguard. This guitar features the white sticker on the cover of the rear control cavity that tells the serial number, which is in the high double digits and factory location. It is believed that approximately 200 to 400 of these were made including basses.Description from VintageSilvertones.com

AMPEG Dan Armstrong Modified Danelectro electric guitar assembled by Dan Armstrong in late 1969 from a batch of New Old Stock Danelectro necks and bodies that he acquired after the closing of the Neptune, New Jersey Danelectro factory. My (new to me) Ampeg B-100R.
US made circa ‘99 and as close as I’ll probably ever get to an old Ampeg B-15.
Needs a little TLC, but the diamond tolex is in great shape, the price was right, and it sounds fantastic. Should be great for practice, small gigs, and recording.
I’m pretty stoked.

Ampeg ASB-1 Devil bass
The Ampeg ASB-1 Devil bass has the same hardware that the AEB-1 Scroll bass I posted a few months ago has, but has a symmetrical body with two large horns. This bass also has the cool scroll headstock other Ampeg models have.

Ampeg Big Stud bass
The Ampeg Big Stud bass came out of the Tokai factory in the 70s and was also sold as the Sigma SBB2-8. It's a copy of the Fender Telecaster bass, but with two pickups. The body was made out of plywood, and the pickup switch is on the lower horn. I like the ashtray bridge cover and the block inlays, but my favorite part of the guitar is that it says "big stud" on the split 2/2 headstock, right above the Ampeg logo.
