Been tinkering on the Leaflet today, pre-wiring high amperage cabling from the battery to the glovebox. Soon I'll have mains power available in the passenger compartment, giving NZ's oldest Nissan Leaf Vehicle to Load. 😁

The goal here was to see if it could power an electric chainsaw & the answer is yeah (:

Now that magic wands use a standardized low-voltage power cable for safety reasons, the cordless magic wand's battery actually puts out more amperage than the one tied to the wall, as long as it's unplugged. Unfortunately this advantage wanes as endurance is lost by the battery draining

Usually it's not. If your car battery is properly rated, it has enough excess amperage that you can leave the AC on when you start it without issue.
But if it's too hot, and the battery's a little old, that can be enough to stress it amperage the car won't start with the AC turned on.

My homes distributed audio system which is only barely utilized is wired with CAT5e because if you're running the line anyway and you're not pushing big amperage it works perfectly fine and might be more useful in the future. Which is how you end up with adapters like these.

Voltage is how high the waterfall is, amperage is how much water is flowing down it. at least that's how I remember it :)
