A new measurement has determined, with a precision 100 times better than previous measurements, that the splitting of two “hyperfine” ground states of antihydrogen is the same as that seen in hydrogen. Matter and antimatter continue to look like mirror images of each other.
Antihydrogen Measurement Sharpens Antimatter Symmetry Test
A 100-fold improvement in a key antihydrogen measurement strengthens tests of matter–antimatter symmetry, entering a regime sensitive to the antiproton’s internal structure.

Four ppm measurement of the antihydrogen ground-state hyperfine splitting - Nature
A measurement of the hyperfine splitting energy of the ground state of antihydrogen at 4 ppm precision reaches a point at which this result is sensitive to the internal structure of the antiproton.

www.nature.com/articles/d41... 92 antiprotons shipped in the back of a box truck! I wonder if we'll see any attempts at larger-scale amat storage using antilithium-coated granules of frozen antihydrogen in future decades - there was an interesting NIAC study about pathways to get there in the 2010s.
Antimatter has been transported for the first time ever — in the back of CERN's truck
Physicists have succeeded for the first time in transporting the most expensive and most volatile substance on Earth — antimatter.

“This September, a group of researchers at CERN finally, after years of engineering an extraordinarily precise experiment, managed to create and carefully capture a sample of antihydrogen […] And then they dropped it.”

"no, you dont understand, we're creating antihydrogen molecules and introducing them to their matter counterpart like we're toasting bread. this was unthinkable in the 21st century"

"yeah, and what the fuck do you think we're doing with all of that energy? we're boiling water."

Laser cooling of antihydrogen atoms:
www.nature.com/articles/s41...
"Doppler cooling" exploits the velocity-dependent absorption of laser frequencies: interacting with one 121.6 nm photon slows down an atom by 3.3 m/s, enough to bring it down to μeV energy levels within a dozen tries.
