Using Aphera has made me enthusiastic to shoot raw photos for the first time in quite a while. It's lightweight and makes it easy to get looks that I really like, without Lightroom's heaviness as an editor and catalog.

Using Aphera has made me enthusiastic to shoot raw photos for the first time in quite a while. It's lightweight and makes it easy to get looks that I really like, without Lightroom's heaviness as an editor and catalog.

Aphera 1.4 is out. We are on a two-week release schedule (ideally!). We introduce copy/paste/drag/drop of source files to pave the way for better interoperability.

@aphera )- they focus on the actual editing, Raw conversion et.al. which is of course vital.
But they are all missing the essential part of organizing file structures, backups and metadata.

@aphera.co I often have jpeg and raw files in the same folder, it seems like Aphera de-duplicates them already - skipping the jpeg if a raw is there. Is it possible to make it also delete the jpeg if I delete an associated raw image? I realise that this is a niche and weird request lol

Hey Caspian . I am a the imaging engineer for Aphera. Spot healing is in the works, anything specific you look for? . What do you mean by Sharping? Or sharpening? . Aphera creates projects, no sidecar. It's meant for medium sized projects, thousands of images but not for full on 10s of thousands
