Exactly! I agree! 👍🏻 I did this some years ago to celebrate Apollo50. Have never had a conspiracy theorist even dare try to explain it 😘

Cette année, en ce 16 juillet, la NASA célèbre les 50 ans de la mission Apollo 11. A quels jeux français pensez-vous lorsque l'on vous parle de l'espace ? 🚀

I interviewed @NASA astronaut Rusty Schweickart on the 49th anniversary of his Apollo 9 mission and honestly, though I was a newborn when he was in space, it felt like I was interviewing someone younger. Such an honor. #Apollo50

Hey @BBCr4today @BBCNews quit talking about #Apollo50 using the word ‘mankind’. You don’t have to use 1960s language to report 1960s news

My Dad built an Airfix model of a Saturn V when I was about 3, I learned about #Apollo50 from him in reference to each plastic stage acting like a chapter. The 3 bulky rocket stages, sleek Columbia, the fragile LEM and the tiny detachable reentry capsule. It seemed as tall as me.

As a child I found the LEM quite anthropomorphic and terrifying.

To think that, Pacific-Rim style, it integrated two bio-cognitive units in parallel and one relatively simple and overworked computer. It was more than a vehicle. It was a cyborg entity. #Apollo50

Rummaging around trying to find a tape of the moon landing, I found this encyclopaedia from my childhood that covered both #Apollo50 and Neanderthal archaeology. It was formative.

One small scratch. Upper Palaeolithic observation of the moon through its phases. Abri Blanchard, Dordogne c.32,000 years ago. Are there earlier representations of the moon? #Apollo50
