Applacha has a spiritual connection to me because it's land mass wise connected to Ireland. Cried the first time I saw them.
But having much more recent and relevant connection to Appalacha with no part of the story sucks.

It felt really empty and desolate at first, and they've really been fleshing it out making Appalacha feel like it's come alive.
I was thinking about that, new players miss out on "The Struggle" of new players, there are so many buffs and supports now - but it's still sooooo good.

I do think Ohio is particularly messed up, but there's good reason!
It's right in between a lot of different cultures. It's right with the midwest, the south, the east coast, and appalacha. Add in immigrants from all over the world and you have the weirdest blend of culture ever.

Either we had a different Bible in Appalacha or I'm experiencing Mandela effect. Local pastor couldn't get through the story without fixating on the Angel of Death. Come to think of it, he was really awed by the idea of god commanding multitudes of angels because he'd be much bigger by comparison.
