There. That's it. All 30 Teams in the #April_Assemble_TeamBuildChallenge! This was really fun, and also, @marvelcomicshqs.bsky.social and @dccomicsreal.bsky.social, just fyi, this is a good list of quick #comicbook pitches I'd totally write for you, y'know, if you wanted...

Building #comicbook teams is one of my favorite things, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the month. #ComicSky #comics #April_Assemble_TeamBuildChallenge

For this JLI team, I went a little more non-traditional from the Bwahaha feel, and tried a more "at odds" global response team approach.

I've never thought A-Force was very different than any other Avenger team really, it's mostly just a roster thing, so this would basically just be a fun action-oriented little adventure with some jokes about old friends and wild nights out.

Mostly, I just think this would be a fun group, especially while caught up in a Temporal War. And also, I think adding Skaar would be funny, especially if he and Molly become best friends due to a lot of shared interests.

I'm a fan of villain stories. Although, I'm not as interested in the world conquerors as I am the regular every day sons of bitches who just like to do crimes with a bit of flair. Add in that they're getting fucked over by The Man? Even better.

The chaos of multiple prison-breaks to cover a heist. I'm always interested in what happens next, so they'd get away with it, then I'd have the Question, the Batman, Lois Lane, and Detective Chimp all start separately sniffing along their trails.

Mostly dark and colorless, where everything is dead and long gone, but during the fight it would be alive with color, because even in the face of hopelessness, the struggle itself is the whole point. They'd ultimately lose, of course, but still.

Like I said for Midnight Sons, I'm a big fan of the secret worlds of magic and monsters "right around the corner," so this would deal with those problems. Vampire gangs, demon cults, secret magician societies of wealth and presumed impunity...
