As a pedestrian who crosses Aracadia regularly, I've come to realize it's way safer for me to do it NOT at the light. At least when people are driving on Arcadia they are looking ahead. If they're turning from or to Arcadia, the BEST case is they ignore me. Often they speed up to get me to run.
