Changed my mind. It looked weird with only one stripe covering a seam. Added another

Now in worse lighting 😅

Second collage in thrifted book. Thoughts below

Main section has layers of paint and ink. Rest is a gel print that I cut up to cover the background

ICYMI I wrote about the chances of Konami approaching Bokeh Game Studio (of Slitterhead) and ArtPlay (of Bloodstained) for future Silent Hill and Castlevania games, respectively, for a @damagecontrolblog.bsky.social post. www.dcgameblog.com/2026/10/cogn...

The company’s pursuits for a steady stream of Silent Hill and Castlevania titles could lead them to familiar faces.

First attempt at a collage spread in my thrifted book. More challenging than expected (see post 2).

My goal is to showcase colors, textures, or shapes I liked for future me to reference

Open book with collage on both sides. Left is more blue-leaning, right is more yellow-green. Papers have abstract marks, some on top of text

Wanted to practice more negative painting before continuing this wood board. I feel like people could guess what it’ll be but who knows?

Found this book at a thrift store for 90c and decided to turn papers from my stash into an art book. I meant it as a future project but I’m playing with layouts as a way to relax & regulate

Got real into cardboard texture plates tonight!

Gel prints on deli or copy paper. Last pictures have cardboard pieces. Started with design from Susan Clifton and went from there (link below)

Pleased with this one! I’ve been doing random experiments lately but felt happier going with collage here. Composition-wise there are things I could improve for next time.

Two recent #mixedmedia #sketchbook pages.

The first one got away from me so fast but I don’t hate it. Second one I left to dry and I’m not sure where to take it next.

Jumping off this point, I know it'd probably be corporate and social taboo, but I wish Konami would contract some of their former directors/artists and their respective studios.

Like if you're contracting out to indie studios, maybe give Artplay some work, or Rabbit and Bear, or Good-Feel

I mean as far Kojima is concerned, they've kinda buried the hatchet as much as it will be. If anyone still has an issue with them, it's Shinkawa.

It'd be funny if Konami did a tit for tat with Artplay so that in exhange for an Castlevania they would fund the next Bloodstained game and therefore gamers could have two cakes.
