I’m working on subtractive chalk pastel landscapes with my intermediate drawing students. I began with a gradient tone with a plan to allow some of the initial gradient to come through. I am subtracting my lights with a combination of kneaded and hard erasers. #chalkpastel #drawing #cactus #artprof

ArtProf on YouTube has a lot of good tips and tutorials on traditional media. I've found their acrylic and gouache painting videos super helpful, personally

Idk if this is what you’re seeking, but ArtProf has a set of folders available filled with various images that they recommend practicing timed drawing with on their website.

Ugh I hate Andrew Loomis so much (and I used them when starting out because I was told they were the best). I have a good book but it was a little pricey. ArtProf on ig (she has a discord) is incredible (just online videos). Burne Hogarth has a great book called Dynamic Anatomy that’s pretty great
