Jamshid finally calmed down enough to join us for bed, so I've been giving him pets and holding his paw, and instead of sleeping I've been thinking about t'shuva towards our pets and dreaming up an ashamnu/ashami towards him. I'm excited to share it later. Hope it's not terribly cringe
He hid under the couch. I spent an hour searching my apartment for him, pretty sure he couldn't get under beds and things with the cone but still checking. The shredded undercarriage of the couch concealed him. He's so unhappy 😭

Jamshid keeps getting worse about eating, so we took a trip to the vet this afternoon, where they administered fluids, antibiotics, and other stuff, and he came home with a cone of shame and a wrist band to protect the IV port, because we're doing it all again tomorrow, and I don't want to do this

That said, good folk do have some important technology, particularly for the fields of math and navigation—as a central tenet of the majority religion, the Ashami, all must face toward the central temple of the holiest city during prayer. Thus you need tech to calculate where that is at all times.
