Man I'm still so upset the Tomb Raider remake is using generative AI. With that and Aspyr using AI in the ports of the classic games, it sucks to leave behind a game series and character I really love, but I can't support it if they're gonna keep doing this.

I’m willing to bet the reviews of the HD version are not separated by platform and thus suffer from the problems with the original PC port (well before Aspyr) that were not present on the 360/PS3

Oh shit, I just realized the most likely next Aspyr-developed LOTR port is Conquest. I have a soft spot for that mess of a game.

I know they're just cashing in on nostalgia. But they're remastering & re-releasing a lot of games I played & loved endlessly as kid (& they just announced Shrek 2 for later this month)
I think aspyr might be becoming one of my favorite game decelopers

it did have more modern ports on consoles from Aspyr, so maybe sending them an email or something might also help 🤔

A lot of unconfirmed rumors floating about how Aspyr used AI to do a lot of the porting for this. Hopefully we can get some confirmations sooner rather than later.

Ser un fan sobreviviente de Tomb Raider desde los noventa es dolor. O mueres a tiempo para acabar en la cumbre con la survival trilogy o vives lo suficiente para que te adquiera Aspyr (son locos de la IA).

Now if only I could do something about the lack of anti-aliasing and AF. And the horrible LOD. Can't seem to get either dgVoodoo2 or DXVK to work. Ah well, 2008 Aspyr PC port. What can ya do?
(Sometimes I hate what switching to PC gaming has done to me, I never used to care about any of this, lol)
