The assessability has to be included so the gov of Texas can get around! Otherwise the GOP does not care about those other people!

There are actually rules about point sizes on packaging, and designers are supposed to obey assessability guidelines for colour contrast

It gets my goat because I was a packaging artworker for 2 decades

There's a lot of different assessability options depending on what you're looking for. I always suggest playing in Wander Mode if you're curious because you can run around and poke around the world with very little risk of dying.

Have you tried adjusting the UI/text in the settings? I don't have a Switch Lite to test this myself, but there's extensive assessability options to choose from.

Support DEIA for disabled Americans. Do your job.
We have family members with disabilities. DEI is DEIA meaning assessability. Why stop disabled people from job opportunites?

And yeah, on my second playthrough there was a point where I just turned on auto-battle and let it do the work, I don't think this is comparable to something like an assessability setting given that it's a dedicated option in combat instead of hidden away in a menu.

Nothing made me more aware of assessability in games then watching a man blind from birth complete The Last Of Us Parts 1-2.

I hope to achieve that level of assessability someday as an indie.

4/ Using Principal-Agent Theory (PAT), we conceptualize AI as a special agent delegation, raising unique tensions:

🔍 Assessability – can we understand decisions?
🔄 Dependency – can we reverse delegation?
⚖️ Contestability – can we challenge decisions?

special case of delegation, highlighting three core tensions: assessability (can decisions be understood?), dependency (can the delegation be reversed?), and contestability (can decisions be challenged?). These structural challenges may lead to a [3/7 of https://arxiv.org/abs/2505.01085v1]

The President, to me, is now implying not only Diversity Equity Inclusion Assessability but as well the Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled community that have come a long way with their job inclusion in businesses in the community. This is a huge overreach.

I was sharing my moms perspective. She built a home with all of that for assessability but as it turns out that is not what she needed at all. Being in an accessible community would have been a better way for her to plane to age in place.

We ran a pre-registered factorial survey experiment (UK, N=1,201) across tax, welfare, and bail decisions. People read vignettes describing human vs. AI-run services, with some vignettes flagging assessability, dependency, or contestability risks.

AI can make government faster and more efficient. But it raises 3 control problems:
– Assessability: can you understand the decision?
– Contestability: can you challenge it?
– Dependency: can it be undone?

1️⃣ Assessability (Can AI decisions be understood?)
2️⃣ Dependency (Can delegation be reversed?)
3️⃣ Contestability (Can AI decisions be challenged?)

I think tunic and celeste are good examples of some good assessability examples for (somewhat) hard games for they varity and opportunity of interest being given.
i agree with you some but i do think the line is drawn too short for some games that could give some options often then they do.
