the autobelay is scary for me because a lifetime of working with computers has taught me to never completely trust a Device. the higher i go the more i see myself as a tangle of broken limbs on the floor as the 0.001% total equipment and redundancy failure outlier

elon tying a big long rope to his ankle, the other end of which is attached to a racheting autobelay system wrapped around a toilet tank so when he has to shit or piss he presses a button and it violently drags him back through the entire building slamming into doorframes etc

i've always been busy leading other activities so i've never rappelled off our tower before... very safe of course but the step off before the autobelay catches you is intimidating! luckily my boss is awesome and nice and good at her job.

Probably spend the rest of the day with indoor purging and tidying, an endless project. Start a new book (Terry Pratchett/Stephen Baxter collab). Might go to gym later; yesterday's autobelay session felt great.

Hei folkens, eg vil ha skryt! Ikkje berre flasha eg tre heilt nye buldrar i dag, og fekk vist fram ei betre teknisk løysing på ei buldrerute til klatrepartnaren. Eg har ogso hoppa frå å klatre 4a på autobelay til å vere to tak frå å fullføre ein 12 meter høg 5b, heilt utan å ha fått det med meg.
