I'm trying to tune "the right amount" of autosteer to be such that at full speed it's a little squirrely, but at lower speeds it conforms a lot more.

Back when I was a teenager, I used to drive tractors with autosteer on. Very boring work, could spend the entire day alone. You’re only doing about 15km/h maybe (like 9mph). Checking or typing even a short message, you could easily have moved 2-300 meters without noticing. Real “oh shit” moment

If you get out of the seat slightly doing this sort of action it immediately disengages autosteer and auto pilot. Tesla had to add this after people were crawling to the back to lie down.

They halted sales of the "range extender" (which this POS needs badly) & now are forcing owners of the "Foundation Series" ($110K+) to buy FSD to receive the "Autosteer" function.
With 150K/year of capacity & only 40K/year in sales, this will be a huge loss-leader.
