It is Microsoft - who did not invest in this round! - saying repeatedly that nothing had changed about its relationship with OpenAI even though Amazon now has some weird exclusive thing with “OpenAI frontier,” some nebulous “agent” platform

it's 2026 and developers here who are given a Windows laptop cannot access a Linux environment unless their teams spend "extra opex" to give them an AWS env, accessible only via SSM because that definitely works with everything.
