El concurso de La Balandra de cuento que quedó desierto con una declaración muy chota del jurado diciendo que las arriba de mil personas que mandaron, incluyendo los finalistas con nombre y apellido, no saben escribir y no tienen nociones básicas de literatura. Parafraseo pero no muy lejos.

Hoy inaugura la 19a edición de Punto de Vista, el Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de Navarra. Dos muy buenas películas argentinas están en competencia: La balandra (Matías Lima, 2024) y Fuck you! El último show (José Luis García, 2024).

Unaware of the Japanese folklore until now, my only thought was these fish are obviously meant to be in the deep, dark depths of the ocean. With climate change as it has been, just wonderful.

Makes sense. Here is a picture of La Paz (Balandra Bay) from my birthday a couple of weeks ago. We rented a local little boat where the guy didn't speak any English, but his first mate used Google translate to talk to us. It was a good break from the insanity of the U.S.
