Off the top of my head my top 5 would probably look something like:
1. Jones
2. DJ
3. Usman
4. Cruz
5. Dillashaw
Weighing great bantamweights highly feels right to me because their quality of opposition is so good.

Taking Jackson. Not sure why this fight is so early on the card these are both former ranked Bantamweights with meaningful recent fights and this fight card is lacking that.

Why don’t you start by campaigning for the abolition of the weight divisions which exclude bantamweights from getting smashed in the face by heavyweights? That’s obviously a much bigger, more widespread problem of exclusion in boxing? Or maybe you just know absolutely nothing about the sport?

Normally big acquisitions get thrown right into the deep end. Bautista is a pretty... forgiving matchup, as far as bantamweights go. I mean they're giving Mix the same guy they gave to Aldo.

My sparring weight was 185 and there's no way you were going to get me to box at heavyweight class. But I knew bantamweights and they're not giving each other massive head trauma in a short or even mid length career, the hits are just different.

Ha! I worked security at the Forum briefly in the late '70's. Saturday boxing matches of Mexican bantamweights & welterweights. The fans were usually so drunk by the main that the whole place had turned into a series of brawls and beer throwing.
