Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

THE WOMEN was my first read by Kristin Hannah - I've not been drawn to her other books. I was a big fan of China Beach so the fact this one was about nurses in Vietnam? Sold. I zipped through this in one day and thus it is my day 9 title for #LibFaves24

GOD OF THE WOODS by Liz Moore is a page turning story of family secrets, privilege, and relationships that I devoured in two days. The character insights and surprising yet totally believable plot twists make this a #LibFaves24. Plus, that cover! @prhlibrary.bsky.social 💙📚

Loved 'Isaac and the Egg' (available in your friendly school library), and looking forward to this one! #bedesreads #booksky
I honestly can't find the words to articulate how beautiful this book is & how moved I was by it. A stunning exploration of love, loss & man's relationship with nature, I'm genuinely lost for how to explain its impact on me. Highly, highly recommend #BookSky
