Joshes bipap still isn't here and his sleep apnea continues to worsen even with his cpap. I have to stay up through the night to make sure he keeps breathing properly, and jostle him when he isnt.
Last night I faced a fear ive been dreading.

oh they were treating and adjusting my CPAP with another random stranger's apnea numbers and only noticed because i mentioned my events spiked to 40+ again. cool. love being a victim of malpractice

How come I have to remember to pay my bills and Social Services hasn’t kept track of multiple disability info ? Do they think I can fly on a broom an hour away when I’m asleep breathing w my beloved Bipap ?

I apologize, they accounted for ass smothering. But clearly we're also not accounting for other types of minimal breathing. Latex, improper bipap machine settings,

ALL cats love my Polio foot & breathing machine. My beloved red Persian Himalayan got neutered because he kept trying to mate w my foot while I was asleep (Snip snip). I feared my new kittens were going to destroy my Bipap. They were always playing w it..!

Went to a concert yesterday. The venue was standing room only so @puphyhm.bsky.social unfortunately couldn't come. We'll work on standing mobility once he gets his new bipap.

One of my payments for my BiPAP machine got declined so now Air Liquide is sending me threatening letters.
Really my fault for thinking anything could possibly get better. God wants me to die of a brain aneurysm by 40. So be it.

And if you get a CPAP and it isn't really working for you, talk to your doctor. You may need a BIPAP instead.

I can't tell you how much better I feel in every concievable way since discovering I had severe sleep apnea and getting a CPAP machine.
I didn't even know what sleep apnea was as it destroyed my mind body and soul. It can kill you.

In a BiPAP, air is pushed into you at two different pressures so you can more easily exhale. With a CPAP, it's one constant pressure.
A more severe case of sleep apnea is more likely to be prescribed a BiPAP.

My cats have figured out a good way to get me up to feed them is to start batting around the hose connecting my mask to my bipap machine. I felt this “boinggg boing boing” on my head and went what the hell? And I see one of them doing it. I push her down & a few mins later the other one is doing it.

Keep meaning to get another, but I'm easily distracted. Will keep the bipap option in mind when I get around to seeing the sleep specialist again, in case the eventual new mask doesn't work.

Point: I need to get up & add water to my BiPAP humidifier before I fall asleep because I know it'll run dry overnight, and breathing in that dry pressurized air will make me miserable for at least the next 12-24 hours with dried-out and overly sensitive sinuses.

Snapped a brand-new nasal pillow into my BiPAP headgear earlier, only to have it start emitting a soft but high-pitched & persistent whistle/whine anytime I breathed. I ended up swapping it out for the used one in my backup headgear bc the noise was unbearable & I'd already tossed the previous one.
