The first two presenters were #ChristopherTrace, an actor, and #LeilaWilliams, winner of #MissGreatBritain in 1957.
#BiddyBaxter became editor of the programme and until her final show in June 1988, after nearly 26 years.

Producer Biddy Baxter MBE died on 10 August, aged 92. She was credited for starting 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘗𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳's long relationship with 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘩𝘰 and was also responsible for the preservation of important clips from missing 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘩𝘰 episodes.

Sad to read of the passing of children's TV producer #BiddyBaxter, the powerhouse that took a short format (15 mins) 60's show & gave us the #BluePeter we all came to know & love. Not sure the badge will get you any special privileges at the golden gates, but worth showing it just-in-case!

We found this letter (complete with badge still in situ) in our attic when we moved in. That was over 50 years after it plopped on to the doormat and was opened by a no doubt thrilled Kenneth. It's now framed in our hall. #BiddyBaxter
