EAC for Windows has a backend toggle for requiring TPM/SB (not enabled by default) i would be generous and assume that Linux will be the same
also why do bigscreen beyond 2e require kernel patches...? surely this is an issue with bigscreen and AMD/NVIDIA first and foremost

That's it! Depends on the subpixel layout on your headset's display.
On my Index blues look further away, on my Bigscreen 2, reds look closer. :3

I have been seriously looking at the Pimax Dream Air SE lately. It seems to be a lot like the bigscreen beyond but less... bad. Comparing it directly to the Beyond 2e, as they both have eye tracking, it's also $200 cheaper.

Bigscreen is SteamVR centric, and Pimax has a lighthouse plate that you can add to their non-wired headset too

Today is a good day.
- managed a 90-minute rowing session while maintaining a high heart rate zone 3
- repurposed an old mini pc as media centre running #NixOS and Plasma Bigscreen
- improvised a curry that had the rest of the family fight over the leftovers

Qué ganas tengo de la segunda parte.

I am sure the Meta Quests are better, but I'd rather die than give Facebook hundreds of dollars, and the Steam Frame/Index are just entirely out of my price range, not to mention any other headset like the BigScreen and so on and so forth.

Carol Burnett always confessed she hated playing the part of the cynical hooker, since it was her first bigscreen movie role, it was for BILLY WILDER, she thought she was all wrong for the part, and panicking.

I am mainly annoyed with how performance tanks on the Bigscreen Beyond 2e and the only way to fix it is to reseat the cables, which aren't very sturdy in how they are connected.

The pink one would work GREAT for some hypno / dronification scenes tbh

Does anyone want to buy a Bigscreen Beyond Audio Strap? Used twice and put back in the box. The ergonomics of it just aren't for me.
If you're going to Detour I can hand deliver it, or I can ship at your expense.
Bigscreen sells this for $129, I'll take $100 just so it's not sitting around.

I hope Bigscreen make a standalone that runs SteamOS. I imagine they'd go for the compute puck design, which is what I really want. Something light like the Beyond and the new meta VR Glasses but with a real operating system. 🙏🏿

honestly considering the price point of even the lowest tier steam frame most people should probably just get a bigscreen beyond thats probably what im gonna get when i eventually do upgrade
