The leucistic Bar-tailed Godwit remains at Gott Bay, Isle of Tiree and has been present there since June 2024

A long wander around NW Tiree today. Tràigh Baile a’ Mhuilinn: 12 Turnstone. Loch Bhasapoll: Whimbrel over S. Balephetrish Bay: 2 Curlew Sand, Knot, 2 immaculate breeding plumaged GN Diver, Little Tern and 15 Sanderling. Kenovay: Willow Warbler. #birdingTiree #birdingScotland

W end of Tràigh Baile a’ Mhuilinn 09:00-11:30: constant stream of Manxie, Kittiwake, etc., mostly c.SSW; 3 dark phase Arctic Skua, one parasitising Kittiwake then Arctic Tern, before passing at c.25m range, two heading purposefully SSW. Also 2 GN Diver just offshore. #birdingTiree #birdingScotland
