Today some cleanup... Starting from my #Crumar #Bit99. Italy, 1985, 6 voices #analog #polyphonic #synth, 2 dcos, 2 lfos, velocity, a creamy filter with a hard metallic resonance. Full midi support with the new firmware chips. The cracking faders need cleaning now and then.

The Prophet wins the knob war 59-0 😀 they can't be more different on the user interface. However the bit99 has a very interesting sound, it can be smooth analogue or metallic, and I have knob controls with an external controller like here youtube.com/shorts/xZ_Ax...

I have a Crumar bit01 in the cupboard that isn't quite right. Not sure it's shit, but it's not a very high quality item. The "plus keyboard" version, the bit99 was mentioned by Graham Massey on Martyn Ware's podcast recently.
