For me, Godot just seems to steer me towards a "high cohesion, low coupling" project design, keeping a relatively high iteration speed while implementing separate subsystems.
Compared to the "figuring out how to correctly configure the preexisting blackboxes piled into the project" of bigger engines

like, we spent the last 3 decade in engineering yelling that blackboxes were a nigthmare and have to be avoided, and now we just made a thing that just create that at industrial scale.

I work in Machine Learning and hate those LLM. They're big unpredictable blackboxes that requires a lot of extra work just to make them a little more consistent.
