Professor Anita Heiss's essay (freely available) is a good starting point.

Love all the BlackWords @austlit.bsky.social trails, they're a briliant starting point / research for teachers and students alike. And the latest, a trail on First Nations adaptations of the Western canon by Jumma Cumpstay is brilliant.
Highly recommending to you all.
