I chose Anne Sewell's Black Beauty because I loved it as I loved horses, and years later in my twenties, I got a horse looking just like Beauty, then it also influenced the horse MC in my novel His Lordship's Coachman. I had this exact Hungarian edition as a kid.

oh yeah i feel. Im a hairstylist apprentice and when i tried to bleack somebodies hair white i had that happen too.
My boss told me its cause i didnt applie it evenly enough and the hair wasnt completly evenly coloured to beginn with
But bleaching whole hair conpletly evenly at once is really hard
