My only exposure is the Edgerunner anime. In world, cyberpsychosis is being talked about. But in the story being told, they all broke due to trauma unrelated to their bodymods. Which I think, is rather accurate to real life.

Okay but my gender affirming care includes a Linear Frame Beta.
This is what I'm talking about - getting turned into a giant cool posthuman cyborg woman is THE DREAM. More extreme bodymods IMPROVE my mental health, and I know a bunch of other trans people who are the same way.

At least in the rules for Cyberpunk RED (the most recent TTRPG for the setting), gender affirming care does not decrease your humanity and thus does not contribute to cyberpsychosis at all.

I already have a bunch of disabilities that I have to deal with, having implants that require maintenance would not stress me out.
The thought of being a cyborg makes me genuinely happy. I have LESS "cyberpsychosis" now that I have bodymods.

I take back what I said about letting you sturm und drang over this, playing with suicidal nihilism over bodymods that a) don’t currently exist and b) aren’t being forced on you is silly

The itch for another piercing is getting stronger, and I'm thinking double nostril piercings might be next, but can I actually make up my mind? 👀💉 #Piercings #BodyMods #PiercingCommunity #PromoSky

I love the decision that these sort of bodymods necessarily come with a big flat cage.

Clothes mods won't break. World additions won't break, but World removals will need updating
Vehicles and Weapons won't break - they might need updating depending on how the dual wielding works
Bodymods and CCXL will need updating if 2.5 introduce new CC options
