Breath of Fire too was pretty dang good. Never beat it though, Beat BoF1. I really need to give it another run.

Updated Batsu to fit "Project Justice", Updated Devilotte to fit the Cyberbots logo with a princess crown. Updated Fou-Lu to fit BoF1. I know he's from BoF 4, but honestly the first logo fits Fou-Lu more since he can change into a beast. All other logos have been added to the line up.

For your first question, it's a bit funky as Breath of Fire loves experimentation almost as much as SaGa, but BoF1 shouldn't cause any problems in the difficulty department it is fairly simple in combat.
You may want to ask Amber about hidden equipment though.

Yeah, a mobile game. It sucked donkey shit but the premise of the story was pretty interesting. The world of 6 is fake and was created by the final boss of bof1 after bribing one of the party members into sparing her in exchange of granting a wish. The game eosd before we knew who the traitor is.

Bof1 has beautiful visuals and sound and is otherwise a pretty miserable game. That overworld music tho

I think BoF2 is probably stronger in a lot of areas, particularly story/script. But BoF1 is the one I remember better, mainly due to bunbun's piano scoring, it's lovely.

I'm enjoying BoF1 a bit more than I thought, but it's primarily because I'm following a guide and sighing at knowing that there was no way I would understand what the game wanted me to do intuitively

Thats true yeah. It's just a shame that a year or two later Chronotrigger and Earthbound are hitting the shelves after BoF1. I'm pretty interested in Breath of Fire 2 though from what I've seen

Tried drawing Ryu from BoF1 but I wasn't liking how he was turning out so I'm probably not gonna finish him. Maybe I'll redo him sometime.

see the thing is I really like BoF1 (the GBA remake) so im pretty dissapointed with the way BoF2 puts less emphasis on exploration and more on cgaracter driven stories (which end up with really weird moments) and i do wanna tackle the rest of the series and i already put a lot of hours into bof2

I only saw screenshots of it. Would've liked to given it a try but yeah did not have high hopes for it. I was such a fan of the series I made a GDD for a prequel that involved several Dragon clans and how they became extinct save for the Light and Dark clans (bof1). Pdf still on my flash drive

The fact it loosely references BoF1 does make me wonder a few things. It sure as hell doesn't help that BoF4 opens up taking place in a huge desert region.

I jumped from GBA BoF1 and 2 to Dragon Quarter so I think I did my part as well!
(Also Dragon Quarter is awesome, great soundtrack too)
