bad news: my large and massive cat can get to the top of my tall bookcases this is what people refer to ominously as foreshadowing

There actually only five bureaus, six bookcases, four tables, and three chairs.

Books: shelved.

Sofa: arriving Friday.

Dresser: still needed.

Sideboard to act as a pantry: ditto.

Rug: after that.

You've got the bookcases bracketed to the wall, right?

I voted! Did you?

That said, I have donated thousands of books to the library.
I still have 12 bookcases full (several of them with one row of books in front of another.

Very envious of what look like beautiful bookcases!

Darn right I live dangerously—don't even bother bolting my bookcases to the wall.

On Halloween, a random couple knocked on the door and asked for book recommendations, not candy 🤪

I need multiple bookcases also. 🤣

I don't know why but it always makes me happy to see people creating things on here, whether books, or cartoons, or wool animals, or bookcases and I wish them every success.

Got them monthly as they came out and they all even fit snuggly into 2 Billy bookcases.

By genre and alphabetical. I even have separate bookcases for different genres.

OMG (pun intended)
So how's the plans for bookcases in the garage coming? And the bookcases inset between studs along the staircases/along the hallways?

Once I was in the stacks of the Glendale Library, and a sweet old woman came hobbling in, and started browsing a few bookcases down. No-one else around.

And then I heard it…
My sister sent me this: a 43-second horse fart. You are all most welcome

it was a serendipitous result of (a) decluttering and organizing my bookcases and (b) knowing that calendars repeat

I was so excited to share with y'all! 😊

I love seeing what other people are reading. Widen my horizons. Whenever I’m in someone’s house for the first time I’m always drawn to the bookcases.

Okay, I’m looking at Marc right now and his people are there but he is not there physically if I was betting on him bc his background is his bookcases.

I’m deeply resisting moving one of my bookcases from the office into my living room, but it’s so difficult!!! Must focus on cleaning and not on redecorating

I don't want poetry and pictures and things to be messages from God, I want them to be complete in themselves.

Slowly getting the bookcases of stuff I've had published sorted out in the new house. Top two wee shelves of this one are all hardcovers of novels, novellas and collections. Back in the early '90s when I started out, I'd have given my right hand for getting just one of these published.
