i love seeing writers’ desks & offices & bookshelves & pens & bookpiles & notebooks & pencils & sweaters & snacks & knickknacks & paperstacks & tchotchkes & densities of spirit & souls in paper form

I am enjoying the World Fantasy bookpiles I've seen from @runalongwomble.bsky.social , @adrijjy.bsky.social and now @ctjhill.bsky.social

On the ex-site I would post seasonal bookpiles. I continue to do so here, no doubt to general rejoicing. Here is my 2024 #spring #bookpile

Happy festive season my peeps. May your bookpiles not totter and your chosen beverage be awesome.

#Booksky #Bookpiles I have 4 Book piles and keep adding more. So many books I want to read 📚 📖 📕 📘 📗 📓

I have bookpiles all over

So many books (there are also some bookpiles scattered around the apartment)

Well okay then! Giant bookpiles it is.

Has anyone else ever (vainly) searched crammed shelves & tottering bookpiles for the excellent book they need to re-read tomorrow- then remember that it was sent as a PDF? By the way, this old photo is unrelated to my post, but I found it by chance. It is the sea. It is wet..

I now almost exclusively read webnovels because my bookshelves have run out of space, and I have run out of space for bookshelves... and bookpiles.

3/12 pages end up being Hoary Boulder, 1 is Coultenet and the rest are just Urianger wearing nothing but a wide-brimmed AST hat and some strategically placed bookpiles. it sells a million copies

When I imagined being a writer as a child, it was mostly daydreams about bookpiles, a companion cat, and some stunning stationery.

I'm lucky enough to have the above, but no one told me this deal with the devil involved giving up weekends and nights.

I love to read. I want to build a library room, with floor to ceiling bookshelves. Cause I am getting more books, and I'm running out of boxes or table space to hold them all 🤣

She’s cultured, she’s worldly, she’s anxious…but she loves variety in piles of books. 📚

On the Muskhellsite I used to do seasonal bookpiles. The tradition continues…
