Am loving Indianapolis & the hotel where IU Medical School put me up is very cool, it used to be a Coca Cola bottling plant—great example of reuse
All through the hotel are giant black & white photos of musicians interspersed with photos of the builders who did the hotel construction

Bottleworks Lane Park recently opened in Silver Spring! Looks like a really nice addition to the southeastern side of town. This spot was some kind of car business before if I remember correctly.

Maybe this is a hot take, but if there was a streetcar in Indianapolis, this is the route that would make the most sense. Supplements IndyGo routes instead of directly competing with anything and serves all the touristy spots.

hung out yesterday at the ribboncutting for bottleworks park in downtown silver spring and was pleasantly surprised to see so many old friends from different parts of my life. silver spring needed something like this, and i really hope this park will be successful

Connor Gaskill was sentenced to four years after taking a plea deal in deadly drunk driving crash at 24th and Delaware streets.
Pendleton man sentenced in 2022 deadly drunk driving crash on Indy's near north side
The victim's family has also filed a civil wrongful death lawsuit against Gaskill and Pins Mechanical Company, the bar where he was allegedly drinking that night.

After input from the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission, revised plans have been submitted for the new IceMiller Headquarters in the Bottleworks District. The building is planned to replace a surface parking lot in the district.
