Ein Boxplot-Diagramm zeigt die Bruttospeicherleistung von Batteriespeichern in Deutschland nach Inbetriebnahmejahr von 2012bis in die Gegenwart für Unternehmen mit Stand vom 31.08.2026. Die y-Achse ist logarithmisch skaliert (in kW), die Medianwerte sind als Zahlen angegeben. Die Leistung steigt über die Jahre an, mit Medianspitzen von 9 kW und mehr ab 2024. Ausreißer sind als rote Punkte markiert. Es wurden 445 Datensätze ohne Bettaeriespeichertechnologie ausgefiltert. Die Messwerte unter dem 5. und über dem 95. Perzentil werden als Ausreißer angezeigt.

Learned that a boxplot can show you a lot quickly, it turns out body style is a solid predictor of price in car sales data. Didn't expect exploratory analysis to be this useful before even building a model. #mktgfiasco4000

As can be seen in Figure 1b, there are still some well-modeled rivers with an SES below the threshold. (SES: SWOT ensemble Spearman). Boxplots surrounding the map show the distribution of SES values for rivers in different categories on a global scale. They show low SES in narrower rivers, coastal rivers (although this cannot be attributed to a model error), rivers affected by dams, and braided rivers. The number of rivers in each distribution is displayed above the boxplot. In the case of high-water width, the rivers were divided into equal deciles, with the upper limit of the high-water width per bin indicated on the axis. "NA" indicates that we cannot assign a category to a river based on our input data. For example, "NA" is a more accurate category than the assumption that rivers that do not fall into the "mountain" or "non-mountain" categories are non-mountain rivers. The central map shows rivers that are not affected by dams, are not coastal, are neither braided nor branching, and are not glaciated. This reduces the number of SES ranges from 68,000 to 7,500. We note that this map continues to identify the Arctic region and China as areas where models experience problems, even apart from these already known issues.

Continuing with the nerd stuff, the boxplot shows how Bluesky Toon's players' scores have developed over GW1-2.
Two boxplots for Game Weeks 1 and 2 in Fantasy Premier League. The left side plot shows a tighter spread of points as we tested out teams for the first week. My team is the orange dot. The right side plot shows a wider spread of scores as players responded to what happened in Week 1. Even I has a good week, although still in the bottom quarter.

The Majeed data combines male and female patients which probably explain the overlap. Suspect if they were analyzed separately, there wouldn't be overlap.
