So there are game jams that don't allow AI, too. I'm not sure I'd be able to finish a game without it. 😅

There is a plugin from brackeys that adds similar controls for particles to what unity has, for play/pause/skim
My recommendation it's always, try It out, and see if anything is a deal breaker. Godot is very different from UE, so it may take some time to learn

I realize I'm not exactly the average case here, but I was leaving the tutorials behind to experiment in unity c# after a few days watching brackeys videos back in the day. It does not take that long to get a basic grasp of things, and you don't exactly need to be Bjarne Stroustrup to make things!
