for now. Tumors are unfortunately common with budgies as they are often overbred and inbred in the pet trade. 😕

If I were to hazard a guess, he may have a tumor pressing on his eye. Budgies are so inbred and can be prone to those apparently. He is still totally acting normal. Flying around and everything so I dunno.

recommend that for budgies. They did some kind of test that gently pushes on the eye, and it didn't retract, meaning that whatever is behind his eye isn't liquid or very soft.
There isn't much that can be done. He has some metacam to see if that reduces the swelling. It's sort of a wait and see
