All day long, Kyiv was under attack by russian drones.

Residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, petrol stations, office buildings, data centres, cars - just some of what was hit or damaged.

Midnight came.

why do they always draw Macro furries destroying residential buildings but never draw them destroying AI Data Centres?

If I were in congress and an immigrant kept breaking into federal buildings to steal my constituents data. I would call 911. Has anyone just called 911?

We're getting extremely close to the day when America spends more money to build data centers than office buildings

Only 5 years ago, office construction spending was 7x data center spending

Everyone is getting upset about the data centers. They pollute a lot and use a lot of energy and will eventually be very ugly/huge vacant buildings. And I understand being mad about that. Until you consider the state of the lazer tag industry at this moment, and how much help that sector needs.

Developers want to build 51 data warehouses, each the size of a Walmart Supercenter, in a Pennsylvania town of just 7,000.

And they are refusing to tell the community what technology firms will occupy the buildings.

Is it any wonder why a nationwide backlash against AI data centers is brewing?
A town of 7,000 planned so many data centers, it’s like adding 51 Walmarts
Developers plan to build six sprawling data center campuses in Archbald, Pennsylvania, covering about 14 percent of the town’s land. Residents are fighting back.

Where are the defenders of the US as Elon and nameless private agents infiltrate US agencies, commandeer US servers, steal US data, seize US money, march US officials from US buildings? Who sallies forth from the FBI? The CIA? Congress? DoD? The media? This is a coup—and America appears defenseless.

The size of *one* of the AI data centre buildings proposed for Great Torrington in north Devon, versus Exeter cathedral 🤯

We’re already running out of water in parts of Texas.

Now, data centers could take nearly 10% of our supply.

Texans shouldn’t come second to tech barons.

Remember how 20-year-olds barged into federal buildings and stole our most sensitive data? Shortly after, a masked army kidnapped hundreds of people and trafficked them to a concentration camp overseas. That secret police—along with the military—now occupies our cities. This is an attack on the U.S.

The US is now building more data centers than office buildings for the first time

Spending on data centers hit a record high of nearly $47B/yr in data released today, up 31% over the last year, as office construction keeps falling

Also, I'm aware this graph looks like Kentucky

If you really want to get rich, start thinking of a use for these data center buildings after the AI bubble bursts.
Wanna see a crazy chart? Of course you do.

Spending on constructing datacenters and manufacturing facilities for computers & electronic products in the US now exceeds the entire retail and wholesale industry and almost as much as the rest of the office and manufacturing sectors combined.

People love living in server data center buildings, which I presume have floor-space-to-bathroom ratios similar to a single family house.

FYI. I've been in data centers. The ONLY people that work those buildings are the security people. 1st class!!

The techs come in, replaces servers that fail and leave. They work for the companies. They drive in, find the broken server pull it out of the rack, put a new one in. And drive away.
