This Mayan earthenware burial urn fragment from the Late Classic Period (600–850 CE) features a complex, deity-like mask and was likely created by the K'iche' Maya in Guatemala. The artifact likely served as part of a ceremonial censer stand, used by elites for religious rituals and incense burning. It is currently part of the collection at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, gifted by John Bourne.
