#buttcap
Took another ounce off — by removing the factory buttcap/recoil cushion and replacing it with an old buttcap I had laying around. Mostly fits. Mostly.

Day 3: #FantasyIndiesAugust #WIP

Unfortunately, I have no covers yet to share. I'm still very thoroughly in the first draft and associated revision stages, but I've been using this illustration I made of the Priestess' daggers for the EPUB copies I've sent people for proofing and early vibe checks.

I was going to say; it's the butt-cap; in Japanese the Kashira.

I rather like the one on my "historic" sword (though I am dead certain the fittings are newer than the blade by at least a couple of hundred years)
